A tree

Is a tower

Standing tall and proud

Like a green giant,

Giving oxygen

So we can live,

No matter what happens,

It stays strong for others

And helps nature

To its end,

And into the beginning

Of the future

To come.

For this poem, I was inspired by nature. I always liked camping and hiking in the wilderness. The mentors from the Young Authors Online site gave me good feedback on my poem. When others read it, I want them to understand the importance of nature and the way I feel about it.
